About  Me 


 Dekontee Tucrkile is a triple-threat performer from California. She got her start performing in church musicals and community theatre. In high school, she performed with Mayfair High School's award-winning show choir "Showtime." 

She continued her education at Vanguard University of Southern California where she received a B.A. in Musical Theatre in 2014. While in school, she was lucky enough to not only performing in shows but, also helped choreographed both main-stage and student projects.  She was also highly involved in student leadership on campus and was inducted into Vanguard's prestigious honor society, Delta Kappa. 


After graduating from college, she attended Open Jar Institute in New York City, where she learned the ins and outs of the Broadway world.  Since graduating from college she has been in shows such as American Idiot, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Jesus Christ Superstar, Mamma Mia  and has worked with companies such as NBC,  Coca-cola, Refinery 29. She performed with the improv- acapella  team "Live! On Fire" and had a residency at ComedySportz Los Angeles.  She has had the opportunity to work with worked  Jeff Whiting, A.J. Rafael, Marc Kudisch, Tara Strong to name a few.
